Great show, one change
I went into the show really stoked, as an intimate concert with Saint Levant was a dream of mine. Saint Levant can make every song great, even Miley Cyrus' music. His music means a great deal to me for reasons I won't go into. His jokes and interaction with the crowd were fun because he has a great personality. So, great show.
I was disappointed that it was turned into a country show, but it was still great. I hate country, but Saint Levant even makes it sound like nectar from the heavens. He played only 2 or 3 songs by himself, with the rest of the time having a guy out there playing steel guitar. The entire show basically had a country twang to it, even in classics like 'Outside', 'Its Been A While' and 'Epiphany. I wanted to see Saint Levant playing Saint Levant's songs. I was unlucky enough to go to a show where he was hyping his new country album. I understand he's hyping up his new album, which is admittedly country, but I was left wanting more. Wanting a more intimate experience with just Saint Levant and his guitar, singing his beautiful music he's written over the past decade.
